MERRY CHRISTMAS

As we race full speed ahead to Christmas there seems to be more jobs than hours in a day. So once you have finished your celebrations for the silly season remember to take some time to rest and relax.

Here at Newtons, we will close our retail shop from 4pm Friday 22nd Dec and reopen at 8am on Monday 8th Jan 2024.

Our online store is open over this period and we will have a skeleton staff working on the non statutory days in between so that we can continue to send out online purchases to keep your feathered friends well fed and your garden looking good!

At this time of year we tend to think about the friends we have lost, so I want to remember a wonderful furry member of staff who passed a few months ago. He was with us from the very beginning when we started at Newtons 17 years ago and his loss has been hard felt. Our wonderful warehouse cat 'Black' was well known and loved by many of our customers and was our loyal and loving friend. The very, very bestest cat! RIP.

Finally, we want to send a message of thanks and gratitude out to all our customers who have supported our business throughout a difficult year. Most households and businesses have seen their budgets really stretched in recent times and it looks set to be that way for a while yet. We do our best here to keep prices as low as we can, so that you can make your dollar stretch as far as it can, and still bring you value for money. As we look ahead to the coming year you may notice some small changes in our freight charges. Whilst the bulk of our freight charges will remain the same, there will be a small increase in rural charges and for heavier orders.
